Absolutely cannot recommend this dentist practice enough. The whole team are so friendly and helpful, and they genuinely care about making sure your teeth are as good as they can be. I switched from an NHS dentist and haven’t looked back since. Obviously it is pricier but that’s a given if you go private. The level of care you receive is second to none. The attached pictures are from a recent filing Don did. As you can see from the photos, he clearly takes incredible pride in his work and he is a very skilled dentist. Thank you to the team for all your help!

Amazing dental practice, wish I had found them years ago. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, really put you at ease if you are nervous and I’m so happy with the results. Feel like Don has given me back my smile again, it’s really made the world of difference to my confidence.

I'm very nervous visiting the dentist but soon feel at ease from the following. The room is nice & airey, comforting white walls with a soft blue light. A fish tank to help sooth nerves. While in the comfortable chair a screen above with great photos to watch taking your mind off dentistry. Soft music playing too. The Dentist Don also helps by talking softly through all he is doing to your teeth & if you feel uncomfortable that's OK stop whenever & your put at ease again ready to continue. My visit to the dentist is so easy & relaxing I almost forget why I'm there. I'd recommend Ocean Dental in Truro to anyone. I have been going there for many years. Also Linda at reception makes me feel at ease too by chatting as soon as I walk in. Thank you to everyone at Ocean Dental in Truro.

One of the many things I had planned for 2020, and probably the only one I had actually achieved (thanks COVID 😂), was to get my teeth straightened. Ocean Dental in Truro were brilliant from the consultation, right through to the final set of clear aligners - and beyond! My teeth had always been perfectly straight as a child and teenager but they began to move and rotate when my wisdom teeth came in. If anyone is even slightly thinking about getting this done, I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. I feel so much happier and I’m shocked every time I see how they did look (even 10 months later as I write this review, I am smiling at the difference). Most people I came into contact with, didn't even notice that I was wearing clear aligner trays. As a warning, I would’ve qualified to have my teeth straightened using an online service like mysmile. However, I needed more work to make sure that my teeth had the room to move safely; work they wouldn’t have suggested or provided. I would definitely recommend going to an actual dentist. I went to Ocean Dental in Truro following a recommendation from a friend. As a testament to their friendliness and professionalism, I’m now a permanent patient there. My partner has even switched over to Ocean Dental after they performed a cosmetic filling on his front tooth. A filling that his previous NHS dentist had said he couldn't do. I have never felt more welcomed or listened to by a dentist (and their team) than I do at Ocean Dental. I couldn't be happier with my results. Thank you so much!

Ocean are easily the best dentist I've ever used and I travel 35 minutes to appointments because they are so good. Don, Tom and Linda are so friendly and professional and the work I have had done over many years has always been excellent, I really recommend Ocean and massively appreciate what great work they do.

Had a really good experiance here, had gone to get my gums and teeth checked after forgetting to get my teeth checked for three years, and there were quite a few issues, but both my dentist and hygenist were very clear and communicative to me about my teeth health, including very precise indications of how severe it was relative to worse cases, and also in advice on how to prevent the same problems happening again in future (aside from not skipping dental apointments of course. XD) The staff were all lovely and friendly, I felt comfortable in their care despite my natural anxeity over my teeth of course, and I would very happily go to see them again. My only slight issue was that the prices are a bit, well, pricey as a private patient, but I can't deny that I got appropriate value for my money (and a prompt appointment time too!) and did not feel like the service was lacking in any significant way.
