5 stars isn't really enough! My journey with strength training has been an incredible experience, challenging yet rewarding and enjoyable as well as effortful. I realised I needed strength training to build complementary muscles for other excercise. I can't thank Carly enough for her expertise, guidance in technique and motivating me to exceed my original goals. It has made such a difference. Very highly recommended!

Where do I even begin! Cannot rate Carly enough!
I have never been someone who can walk in to a gym and feel confident if anything that was my idea of hell! Mainly because I didn't have an absolute clue! That was my main reason for booking with Carly however I have gained so much more! I feel so much more confident and dare I say it excited! With Carly's expertise, support and kindness I am in complete shock of what I have achieved in my 6 sessions. Every time I visited A body to live for I left feeling a real buzz not just because of the exercise but for that one hour i didn't have to think about anything else. Carly made me feel so comfortable and it was like catching up with a friend! I'm already looking forward to going back for the one off sessions! Trust me you won't be disappointed - Carly thank you so much !! X

Working with Carly is so refreshing! She has pushed me based on what I want to achieve through weight training whether it be strength, confidence or both!
There is no focus on my weight, weight loss, body size etc just how you feel and what you want to do.
I follow Carly's online program which I can do in my own time but have also been to her studio in Cornwall which is such a lovely place to work out with great vibes.
Working with Carly and A Body To Live For this year has had such a positive impact on my life and I can't thank Carly enough.

I am 64. I was nervous about fitness and strength training but after reading articles about strength, fitness and aging well I knew I wanted to do something to future proof myself. Meeting Carly changed my thinking radically. She motivates, encourages and has given me the desire to become as fit as I can be. I have moved from believing that ‘I can’t ever do that’ … (I was always the last to be picked at PE) … to ‘I’ll give it a go’ … to ‘Oh wow! I just did it’! I cannot believe what I have achieved in a short space of time. Carly is one in a million.

Carly is absolutely amazing! She is so enthusiastic and motivating. She has helped me make so much progress and always knows how to push me to reach new PB’s. She makes it feel like you're working out with a friend. I genuinely look forward to our sessions, it never feels like a chore going.

Having never had a personal trainer before, I was slightly nervous/intimidated to start with Carly, but I can’t say how happy I am to have found her! Having never been a lover of organised exercise, I can honestly say I look forward to every session and enjoy Carly’s company as well as her encouragement. She pushes in exactly the right way to feel like you really can do it, without a hint of negativity, only focusing on achievements and progress. The studio itself is a really lovely environment as well. Would recommend to anyone!! Do it!

I have been going to Carly since July and I have absolutely loved every session. Carly tailors the workout each time and celebrates every PB and milestone along the way. Her enthusiasm is second to none and I have felt so much happier in my own abilities and strength since starting the PT sessions and it has definitely helped with my running / hockey fitness too. I can’t thank Carly enough for her positivity, laughter and support!

I cannot recommend Carly highly enough. I was feeling anxious about getting back into exercise after having a baby and not knowing what my body would be able to do after a long break. Carly completely put me at my ease from the first session, and since then, six months ago, I’ve really appreciated her warmth, generosity, encouragement, celebration of little wins, focus and down to earth approach.
I’m feeling loads stronger in my body and spend less time being critical of it and more time being grateful for what it can do - that’s no mean feat, Carly is great at what she does. I love that no diets, nutrition, foods (except what’s for dinner - usually beans on toast!) or body ‘issues’ are discussed. It’s liberating.
If you are in any doubt as to whether to train with Carly, don’t doubt it. Definitely do it and you won’t regret it. Thank you Carly so much xx

I cannot recommend Carly enough. I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone, and I am so glad I did. A few months ago I never would have thought about lifting a weight, and now it's the highlight of my week. She tailors the sessions so perfectly. I adore her ethos, and I feel stronger and more confident in how I exercise. We also have a proper laugh with every workout, and I am so grateful I was introduced to her ❤️
