So I've been a customer of Hub Box since it was a shipping container on Lemon Quay in Truro.
These days it's a very different beast but their focus on good food and friendly service remains, which is a good thing of course.
They have, however, sacrificed value for volume.
The burgers are smaller and the fries are more expensive. (£4.50 for waffle fries..the equivalent of around one potato) but the vibe is warm and the staff are reasonably interested in providing a good time.
In summary: not what it was, but good.
In the regular words of my school reports: "must try harder"

Double cheese is legendary and Vegi Betsy equally awesome 😎 always a little wait for a table but the food is well worth it and extra good when comes with friendly service and stunning onion rings - yum yum yum all the way home! Slurp
Vegetarian options: Yum yum

An hour’s wait for a small but tasty hub burger (£8). Had to chase both drink and food. Coleslaw lovely fresh veg but the dressing (American mustard based) was too acidic - could be lovely. Used to come here a lot when it was just as busy - it was better and this will be our last visit unfortunately. Patience and spare time definitely needed.

Really cool looking place. A few vendors in one spot. We had fish tacos which were nice but covered in whole chives I believe? Chicken burger also had a bone in

Had a pint here good place bit pricey and you have to either pre book a table or book on when you get there thought it was strange as they wouldn't serve me unless. I did normally you just go up to the bar and get a drink but not this one

Would not recommend to anyone. Really not happy at all. Out burgers came raw and the service took over an hour to get our food.
The waiter / manager lied to us saying the burgers were STEAK, but from their website they said all burgers are beef patties.
Website (WE’VE ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT FLAVOUR, SO WE’RE CHANGING HOW WE SERVE OUR BEEF BURGERS. IT’S STILL OUR SIGNATURE PATTY - NO SECRET RECIPE, JUST GOOD MEAT)
We took bites out of our burger without looking, and the manager said “they wouldnt send out food that wasn’t safe to eat) and was very rude.

Such a unique experience! Located in an old church, the inside is completely unexpected. With a feast of fantastic art and decor to take in, your meal is already off to a great start. Then you get your food and drinks and it somehow gets even better. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and I was so happy with my choice of the Dirty Disco. Service was friendly and fun too. You won't regret your visit here!

The sweet potato fries were just mouth watering. The selection of burgers is great. We had the Kali Beef, Bacon Double Cheese and the Bella and they were gone in the blink of an eye. Absolutely delicious. Finished off with the Crack Pie which was fantastically gooey and sweet. Staff were friendly. Would definitely visit again.
