The house was clean, warm and cozy. However, too small for group of 7. 2 families with 4 adults and 3 young children. The 7th cot was a baby cotuch we didn't know until we checked in...or probably our vocabulary issue...didn't realize a cot meant baby's crib. There's just one bathroom, we booked it knowing so no complaints there. However the bathroo. Didn't lock from inside, so when in use we had to sing out loud or inform the whole household. The showers, oh my... It delivered hot and cold therapy and the water pressure was mind blowing. The shower needs serious inspection and replacement. Rendered the bath useless. One of the bedrooms, the street light pours through the room and is bang on the face. We couldn't sleep the night and the second we slept with some arrangements and someone always had to sleep on the couch as there were not.enough beds. Would have loved to give a 4-5 star barring the cots and the bathroom/shower. Good host and warm house in a good location close to shops and city center.

My partner suffered a stroke whilst we were on holiday (for two days), and was consequently put into The Royal Cornwall Hospital. This meant that I was B&B hopping for just over a week. The only place I could get into at first was The …

Thank you, Anne! It's been a huge pleasure to stay in your guest house last week. I can't recommend your place high enough. Literally everything I needed, you managed to provide. Tourist advice on Land's End & Penzance, short cuts through …

Stopped for one night. Ann, the landlady, is very warm and talkative host, and was glad of the discount code for Ask on Lemon Street.||||The room was great, and had a shower stall in which was handy.||||Was very happy and wouldn't hesitate to return. Breakfast brought to room, too was nice.

My mum (who came from Russia) and I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in the busiest time of year, August. We had the most wonderful experience in the BayTree Guest house with Ann, our landlady. The guesthouse is very pretty with wonderful …

Ann was absolutely lovely receiving me, my wife and friends; especially because we had an issue with our car and had no place to sleep in Truro. She is one of the kindest (or the kindest!) person I met in the UK. Room and toilets were tidy and clean; breakfast was also great. I do recommend this place and would totally come back! =)

Me and my Mother went to a festival and found ourselves stuck for a place to stay with no train home, Anne let us stay and gave us a lovely room. She was kind and humorous and her BNB feels just like you're at home. The beds are really …

This B&B is wonderful, and if the accommodation doesn't have all of the frills (shared bathroom, but basin in room, continental breakfast served in room rather than a full English), the welcome offered by Ann more than makes up ! Yes, she …

I stumbled upon The Bay Tree Guest House whilst walking through Truro. The owner Ann was immediately inviting and let me have a peek at the last available room before I committed. The BnB was clean, tidy, warm and homely. Ann was the most …

We desperately needed a place to sleep near the hospital, the whole town was booked up, but here we found a warm hearted host with a character looking after us well. Like my granny she wouldnt let me leave without a lunchbox for the train home. Thanks for that, I actually needed it. If you are looking for some anonymous, modern shiny conference hotel with a pool for your next business meeting, you better look somewhere else, though. If you need a home away from home for your cycle trip stopover or just to see someone at the hospital, this is a good place to stay.
