Excellent school!! The lessons are very dynamic and interesting. The atmosphere is great, the group are small you can improve your english not only during the lessons but all the day. I was with my daughter of 12 years old for a family programme, you can't find a better programme to study with your children and family!! I attended a lot of language courses but the one at Joel's Language Tree School in Truro in Cornwall was one of the best. Combining studying English in the morning with cultural studies in the afternoon is a brilliant opportunity to improve your English. Kathy offered highly sophisticated lessons in her advanced classes in the morning and Joel organised HR awesome excursions in the afternoon. A great program The South West Path program.

I can recommend Language Tree in Truro without any restrictions. We have had a fantastic week there and they offered different courses according to the different levels we required. The three teachers conducted the lessons in a very positive way, it was a perfect mix of grammar, reading and discussing. Two of my daughters took part in one of the activities that were offered in the afternoon, they loved the surfing lessons!

Having had to pass IELTS B1, A1 AND A2 I simply would not have got through it without Joel Ashton the director of language tree. the school goes out of its way to accommodate every walk of life. when I had my first lesson with the language tree I didn't speak 1 word of English. now I speak fluently and have got my first job. My nephew attended a two-week course in Truro this summer. I was impressed both by the quality of the teaching and by the excellent excursion and activity programme, which was so very different from what one usually gets in summer programmes around the UK... many lovely beach activities, such as surfing, paddleboarding... my nephew had not a single thing to complain about. Cornwall provides really stunning scenery, of the kind one never tires of. The landlady who provided the accomodation was very kind and motherly and really looked after him. I could see a big difference in my nephew's fluency before and after the course. In short, I will certainly consider this language school for my younger nephew in a few years.
