We had a lovely, and welcoming, shelter from the pouring rain with our dog. Very friendly. A well made cappuccino and gorgeous gluten free pumpkin cake for hubby. Very happy. Thank you.

We bought a celebration cake for our wedding and it was stunning. The cheeses were delicious and little decorative mice so cute. It looked really impressive too. The team delivered it to our wedding venue providing excellent costumer service. Thanks so much

Went there for coffee early one morning this week and sat in. Got two oat lattes which were very milky/huge and MOLTEN hot, like volcanic temperature level. Couldn’t really tell how nice the coffee was once it cooled down (literally like 10 mins later) because it was so milky.
The fridge display cabinet at the front was making crazy amounts of mechanical/vibrational noise. Must drive the poor barista insane stood next to it all day. Felt like we were sat in the back of an old van from a sound perspective.
Wanted to love this cafe as it’s a nice walk from our house but it wasn’t a very peaceful experience.
Coffee is better at the Bread & Butter deli shop and Sabzi.

I contacted the Old Cheese Shop recently, as I was looking for a totally Cornish cheese ‘cake’ for my daughter’s wedding. Katie, who I dealt with, could not have been more helpful, friendly or informative! She provided me with all the information I needed to make my choice of cheeses and what sizes I would need, which made the process so much easier - especially as I am in East Sussex, but the wedding was in Cornwall! On the wedding day, Katie came to the venue to set up the cheeses and they looked amazing! More importantly, they all tasted amazing too and were all very much appreciated by our guests! Katie also provided Cornish crackers and chutneys to go with the cheese, which again, were delicious!
If you are looking for an alternative wedding cake, or just want exceptional cheese, your first stop should be The Old Cheese Shop - I can’t recommend them highly enough!

A good little facility. Possibly not quite as good when we last went (pre-Covid). We had a really good coffee and hot chocolate with some really tasty cakes. The music unfortunately was a tad loud and interfered with conversation. Prices were fair.

Fantastic flat white before catching my train - really reasonably priced too! Cakes looked delicious, so I will definitely try them next. Lovely warm interior, I’ve found my new coffee spot!

The cakes are made off site and supplied by other independents. The coffee, well, where to begin…. I drove 20 miles for one yesterday, cause quit simply I believed to be the best in Cornwall! There I said it, prove me wrong…. Also the staff are lovely and knowledgeable about the coffee and want to provide a great service.
