I must say I was quite shy coming in as I’m very new to playing the guitar. These guys were very helpful. I found on the cheap guitar I was using (free to a good home) I was struggling with some chords and I had a feeling it wasn’t me. I went in and instead of dismissing me off the bat they gave me a guitar to try some chords, lo and behold it wasn’t me! They gave me an excellent price on a beautiful guitar and I didn’t spend much at all. £180 to be precise. I don’t think this is much money to get into a hobby unlike surfing that would set you back £700. They didn’t try to upsell, they were just genuinely interested in getting me started. 4 days in and I’ve spent about 4-6hrs playing without realising. HIGHLY recommend!! I’m obviously reviewing as a beginner with not much knowledge. I’d definitely say they have a VERY large selection for anyone. They will also keep an eye out for something you want or need!! Brilliant service

I was in Truro with a newly purchased 2nd hand acoustic and dropped in on the off chance they could set it up. Forunately they had a short notice slot and I'm very glad they did because it was an excellent job. They noticably improved the playability of the thing, the service was fast, friendly and transparently priced. Highly recommended

There's always good value, every guitar gets a setup within a year of purchase, and the after sales care is impeccable.

Terrible service, very small store. Guy at counter didn't even ask if I wanted any help considering I was only person in the store. They have a very small choice of guitars and would have to say id never go back and couldn't recommend it to any of my friends unfortunately.

I love going over there but every time I want something different. It is great to have a proper shop in cornwall and I wish I could support them more by buying that Marshall ST20H!

Bought a Mexican fender telecaster for such a good price, customer service is 10/10 and guitar is brilliant. Also got given a free guitar bag, lead, pics and strap for free. Great selection of guitars

For a dad who knows nothing about guitars, buying his daughters first bass- these guys out us at ease, explained everything, and never made us feel inferior. Great customer service, but also always looking to give the best price- internet , shop comparisons. I have one very happy daughter, one very noisy house! Fantastic Shop. All the staff are extremely friendly. I bought a guitar here that i specificly asked them to get in stock and they did just that! As well as a free setup and were ok with me giving them my strings to put on the guitar. 5 STARS

Best music shop in the South West. Well stocked with excellent new and used gear. Great service and prices and the best stratocaster I ever had came from modern music. Fantastic!!
