I simply had to write a review after the amazing experience I had yesterday. Firstly, the salon is a lovely environment and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly right from the beginning. I felt really relaxed straight away. Secondly, I was after a pretty huge transformation and can only say that I have been blown away by Taryn and her work. She totally went above what I was expecting would be possible in one session and I am so happy. It has done wonders for my confidence and I am incredibly grateful for that. She was also super lovely and totally non-judgemental, and talked me through everything she was doing. Taryn is incredible at what she does and very talented, I am so happy that I have found a wonderful hairdresser and welcoming salon as I have been looking for somewhere like this for a long time. I have been coming here a while now and I’m always over the moon when I come away! I have gone from brunette to blonde and also had ballage along the way too! Eloise is always spot on. I’ve also had cuts done by others in the team and they are fantastic. It is also great to see the apprentice staff working in there gaining confidence each time and are always friendly and chatty! It is a real treat to be looked after so well and it really comes accross that they all enjoy, care and very good indeed what they do. The products that they use are really lovely and my hair always feels in great condition after a visit. I’m so glad I stumbled on this hairdressers and now would not go anywhere else! So happy with my hair, Elouise managed to get it to a lovely ashy bleach tone which I’ve wanted for ages, whilst providing me tips on how to maintain my hairs health. I would avoid this salon. Not only can they not perform the simplest natural hair matching but they don’t communicate and certainly don’t lesson. I asked for a trim of my breast length hair and came out with hair above my shoulders and the colour is disgusting. I look like a fright! Sammy messed up the colour and changing to permanent colours without asking. They took no accountability for there argent lack of care, you deserve a better hair dress than here. We all do. Jo and her team are all absolutely lovely. Jo runs a very professional salon in a lovely building with excellent hairdressers and I would highly recommend them. They offer a full range of services and products - my visits are always an absolute pleasure and my haircuts superb.

Amazing staff, very friendly and professional. Excellent service, it is the first hairdresser I have been to in a long time who listened to what I wanted before giving me a fantastic cut. The salon is lovely and has a wonderful vibe. I was blown away with every aspect of my experience and will definitely be going back for all of my hair appointments in future. I cannot recommend Goldbird hair highly enough!
