Small, independant shop selling a large variety of teas, coffee & hot chocolate. Plus biscuits, nuts & chocolate treats, some of which are vegan / gluten free. They sell black, green & flavoured tea, mostly loose leaf. They also ingeniously sell taster bags of each tea, currently on a buy 4 samples get 1 free offer. They also sell tea accessories including tea balls & strainers. They sell many different coffees & will grind coffee beans to your required stove top / machine etc. They also sell on-line. NB There is no parking outside the shop so you will need to park in a nearby car park or use the Park & Ride bus service.

Having purchased some lovely cookware and teapots from Procook, the shop assistant recommended Tugboat for a selection of teas and coffees. On entering Tugboat, we were made to feel very unwelcome. The woman behind the counter was very curt and said they had just received a delivery and turned her back to us , whilst she proceeded to unbox and pack onto a shelf behind the counter. No hello, no smile. I commented to my companion that I often liked to smell different teas before purchasing and this was met with a sharp “all the teas are sealed so you can’t smell them”. I was fully aware of this, having seen that sample packets were available at 4 for £10 and was going to purchase a few. However, given the frosty reception, we decided to leave and not spend any money in this shop. Very poor customer service which is such a shame when we want to support independent businesses.

I called into Tugboat this morning, pre Christmas to buy a gift. What a lovely, very friendly lady who helped me choose some delicious coffee beans. ☕️ A quality local shop which I will certainly revisit. Thank you. Sue.

Honestly the best little hidden gem!! I was down in Cornwall on holiday and stumbled upon this absolutely amazing shop!! I’m a big coffee drinker and Sara was really helpful! I explained what I like in a coffee and she gave some recommendations and I have to say it’s some of, if not the best coffee I have ever had!! The service was amazing and I have since re-ordered on multiple occasions! Customer for life!

Great selection of Teas and Coffee's in a lovely little store. I brought 250g of their Kenyan Peaberry coffee to brew on my V60 at home. As a self confessed coffee nerd, I can confirmed this coffee was great value for money. It was well roasted and exactly what you'd want from a Kenyan filter coffee...a nice balance of bright, juicy and sweet

5Star Private Hire (Andover) made a personal visit to Tugboat and was amazed at the range and quality of teas on offer. I highly Recommend this company to anyone seeking to source the finest fruit teas suited to a wide range of tastes and preferences.

If it's Tea in all forms and coffee in more this is the place to go. The staff know their stuff and have mixed brews for all tastes, shows in the shop and online and they'll pass on this knowledge to you to help you choose the perfect match for your teapot or brewer. If I'm passing I'll be popping in again. I popped in again and walked out loaded with new tea's to try (2022) Keep up the good work people 😉

A great independent business with a great selection of coffee beans and loose tea/tea bags too choose from. They can grind coffee beans while you wait and put into bags for you. They have a small selection off Josh's Chocolate bars, biscotti, treats. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend if you are into coffee/tea and looking for something get as a gift as well

I love heading to this shop, I've been twice now and will be going back again! Each friend I've taken will definitely go back again. The huge stock of different teas & coffees, each with a small description of the undertones in the flavours. How best to brew it. The knowledge, tender, live & care that went into making this shop is visible! My friends live coffee and chatted away to the staff about it. I've no idea & just love tea. Try to support small businesses
