If you have not seen Peter Pan at The Hall for Cornwall (2023) then I suggest you drop everything and book tickets!
The cast is excellent, the sets are fabulous and the songs are brilliant! A genuinely great time to be had for all ages!
The Hall for Cornwall is a wonderful, welcoming venue.

Pretty good venue. Seats are comfy and not too packed and tight.
One thing to remember, is that the box office is not on the Lemon Quay side, so if you need to buy or pick up tickets you'll have to walk round or be "escorted through (if there's anyone to do that!)"
As a pedestrian, the stalls have narrow steps, so beware of traversing them.
Price's of refreshments are ££. But that's not too bad for a special evening. Besides, you can always buy your own in one of the local nearby supermarkets and take your own in.
It's a newly redeveloped provincial site, and it was closed for 18 months. I think, therefore, ticket prices are higher than I would like for a local venue.
Watch your seat as you sit down, They are newish. And if you don't hold it down when you sit. It'll flip up really quickly, and you'll end up on your behind in the row in front of it.

Brilliant show, the theater looks lovely now it's been renovated, but the rows of seats are far to close to the rows in front. Also lacking in seats around the bar, not ideal if you have to wait for show to start or mobility issues. This said we did have a fantastic evening and will continue to support our local theaters.

What a fantastic venue. I have watched a number of shows here. Great service and atmosphere every time.
We watched Diversity, and it was amazing!!! I watched the first half before having to breastfeed my son. Due to him not settling I was afraid I couldn't see the second half. But the staff were amazing, they allowed me to sit in a separate area where the show was being live streamed to a TV. I was able to feed my baby, put him to sleep, and even finish the show! I can't fault the staff at the venue. So a big thank you to the gentleman who helped my mum and the very kind lady who got me a chair and helped me with my belongings.

The renovations are really top quality, making this a brilliant venue now. There isn’t a lot of space for longer legs in the seating, so make sure you book an aisle seat if you’re tall. The queue for the bar is always massive, so just bring your own refreshments.

Fantastic staff and a gorgeous building. I have seen some brilliant shows here and there is always something for everyone. Fully accessible building. There is a great coffee shop with a lovely selection of locally made cakes at reasonable prices. And some of the cocktails in the bar will have you going back for more. I would recommend pre ordering interval drinks before you arrive as the bar gets very busy

We had a wonderful evening at the Hall For Cornwall. It was the first time we had visited since the refurbishment. We watched ‘An Audience with Lucy Worsley’. The show was excellent, and Lucy was so interesting to watch.
Why only 2 stars? We booked seats in the balcony and our view of the screen and her presentation was seriously restricted. We were not told this would be the case. Every photo was headless, so when Lucy referred to a facial expression we were not able to see.
Whilst the theatre looks fabulous, we were very disappointed that a basic fundamental question was not asked, namely ‘does every seat have a clear line of sight to see the screen?’ We were disappointed.

Really good tribute act, great seats in front row. Bar slightly disorganised and slow, toilets good and clean. Only real drawback is escaping from local council car parks, only two payment machines and probably 200 cars trying to leave.

The Hall is looking good after the refurbishment. Seats comfortable, with arm rests, but still fairly close together. Staff all most helpful and friendly. Ice creams and programmes are card payment only. The seats directly in front of us empty so excellent view. Criticisms (and these are for the production, not the hall) sound very loud, and use of spotlights blinding, but there was warning of this beforehand.
