Really good freshly made coffee. I'm quite fussy about coffee and yet to be disappointed. Top notch!

Great selection of cakes on offer and other food. Cruffins were very nice. Sorry forgot to take photos of cakes too busy scoffing them. 😁

Lovely flat white and a tea made with properly boiled water not half cold. Also fully support your response about yapping dogs. I work in the trade and am a dog owner and the two do not always go together!

We didn't have any food, to be honest there were no menus for food displayed anywhere that I could see, only at the till, so no idea what food they do. I had a coffee and a blueberry muffin, both we good, the coffee was full to the brim so definitely get our monies worth. It's a nice addition to the park.

Overall the experience was lacking.
The staff although friendly, seemed to lack get up and go and this caused the service to be extremely slow and they got overwhelmed by only a couple of orders. Whilst waiting for our order there were multiple other customers who were waiting for takeaway drinks and some who only wanted a tea had been waiting for atleast 10 minutes. There were also multiple instances where they got order mixed up and confused (may I suggest writing orders on takeaway cups to avoid such confusion)
I think there needs to be another staff member who has the ability to take charge and manage the 3 staff members there today. As they just seemed lost and were very slow and had no urgency about them.
Overall I think the cafe has the ability to be so much more but the staff just need to be trained better in speed of service and become better at handling multiple orders at once because in total we waited around 20 minutes for 2 toasties and 2 hot chocolates.
Parking: Plenty of parking however can be filled up very quickly.

I am a regular visitor to this cafe and, unfailingly, find it a positive experience. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly who take pride in their work ensuring customer satisfaction. The food is inviting, reasonably priced and the recently expanded menu accommodates those with a vegan and gluten free diet. The cafe offers a homely atmosphere with attention to detail and is beautifully clean including the toilets which so often go neglected in eating establishments. It is one of few cafes I visit that is warm. Dogs are also welcome and treated to a much welcome biscuit!
I can't fault this cafe and consider it an important part of my day.
Vegetarian options: There are vegan options also.
Dietary restrictions: There are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available.
Parking: There is ample parking in the vicinity of the cafe
Kid-friendliness: Children are very welcome in the cafe. Colouring in sheets are offered and there is food and drink suitable for children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair users access the cafe by the main front door and the cafe is on one level with room between tables to manoeuvre freely. There is also a disabled toilet.

Wow! What a lovely little cafe - a perfect little place to sit and have a coffee and some cake after a walk with my 2 dogs . Friendly staff , great service - will definitely be returning soon .

Recently visited ‘cafe in the Park’ for the fist time in a couple of months. What a transformation!
Friendly staff, warm inviting atmosphere, good hot food now available and dog friendly.
I will now be a regular visitor!

Just had a very nice pot of tea, which was served promptly with a smile, hence I couldn't score the food.
Nice warm, airy place. Level access from carpark. Disabled toilet. Plenty of space for walking aids, wheelchair if required . Mainly sandwiches, snacks and some lovely looking cakes ( including vegan, dairy free gluten free options). Only negative is the noisy fridges, but I'd happily come here again, despite that.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten &dairy free & vegan cakes.

Incredibly slow service, there was only one order ahead of me so not that they were busy... ordered a specific coffee as well standard cappuccino (if its an issue to make it, don't offer it) got something completely different and when pointed out the waitress was clearly less than impressed, practically rolled her eyes and made the coffee correctly... May I suggest writing the orders down? Tends to be easier to remember then. And it should be standard practise to saying thank you to someone who has spent money in your business. The other customers behind me noticed the lack of manners too.
