Excellent service. Thanks to Liz who went the extra mile for my granddaughter whose original bike frame was 2 sizes too small. Liz was brilliant with her & found her another bike which she absolutely loved. Luckily we took the one in store on display as it was the last one! Christmas has just been made more shiny for my granddaughter by Truro Halfords & their superstar Liz.

From the top down, an utterly useless company. Visited the Truro branch on the 30th of November. Met by a very rude staff member on the cycling desk. Asked me if I wanted any help, and when I had the audacity to say yes they treated me with utter distain. I was looking for a product that was on the website that wasn't in-store. I knew this and was hoping for the staff member to advise an alternative. They didn't. Instead they gave variations on "out of stock, what do you want me to do about it?" I don't want staff to blow smoke up my backside, but they don't have to be rude. After spending 20 minutes trying to find what I was looking for on my own I eventually gave up and went to the front desk to ask for contact details for the complaints line. I was told I could email them, but then the staff member couldn't find the email address. Went online to Halfords website, on their complaints page it says "the quickest way to make a complaint is to use the AI chat bot". When you do, the chat bot links you back to the page that tells you to use the chat bot. Clearly Halfords are incompetent from the top down. I wouldn't trust them to change the wheels on a pram!

Great service at St Austell Halfords. Carly organised a speedy battery and alternator check for me, which was done by Alex, after he wasn't sure of the readings he went next door and got an Autocentre Mechanic with a more complex diagnostic machine to gather more detailed info, all done quickly (I didn't have very long as I had to get to work) and very professionally, and FOR FREE... Carly then helped me find exactly the right battery, which was a good price. Everyone really helpful, was extremely impressed and am very grateful! Thank you!

Checked the Halfords in-store parts guide for the correct part ... a range of options came up ... I selected a twin pack (bulbs) so I would have a spare. When I went to the checkout, they quoted me a higher price than the guide indicated ... and refused to sell me the item at the price indicated on the in store guide !!!! My complaints were literally waved away by a "supervisor" ... so I paid for a single bulb and left ... never to return again !!! Eurocarparts here I come. APPALLING, and I suspect, ILLEGAL.

I visited Halfords for a side light. I was incredibly impressed with the service given. Mary fitted the bulb for me even though it was really awkward, and also did a 10 point health check - for free with a free years digital membership. 10 stars deserved!

I popped in to Halfords to discuss my Cycle to Work scheme. Matt was great, he recommended the perfect bike and was able to organise everything, including the accessories, for me! Nothing was too much trouble! Thank you, Matt!

I ordered 2 car keyfob batteries, CR2430 on click n collect. The batteries presented to me were not even near. The assistant retrieved the correct ones for me. Is it because im holidaying in Cornwall, who knows.

I bought a vehicle battery online, and arranged fitting next day at Truro. Very efficient service and Jack was extremely knowledgeable, offering advice as needed. Phillipa was on the till, again very friendly and helpful. Thanks again

Popped in today having issues with my bulbs converting from led back to normals. Kathy managed to sort it out for me no issues and saved me some money with the motoring club (bargain) I seem to see Kathy each time I go in for something and she’s always been spot on. Cannot fault the service thanks again Kathy you was a life saver! Credit to your staff.
